We want to thank all our partners for their material and ideal support that are crucial preconditions for a successfull conference in knowledge management.
David Gurteen, Founder, the Gurteen Knowledge Community |
I attended ICKM for the first time at the University of Greenwich in England in 2006. I expected it to be yet another academic conference with a series of papers back to back. But it greatly exceeded my expectations. There was a good mix of people including academics, business people and consultants both as speakers and delegates. And the papers and talks were excellent. I think what made the conference stand out for me were the social aspects time had been built in for networking and social events so that people got to meet each other and got to know each other. In all, it was a great conference, and I would highly recommend it. |

It was great meeting colleagues from so many different parts of the world (34 countries) amongst them many African or Asian countries that are underrepresented in other conferences. We had plenty of time to exchange ideas in between the sessions and inquire about what their focus is for KM and which challenges they face. The presentations were a good mixture between academics and practitioners. I got an insight how other countries overcome the obstacles in their education system to improve knowledge transfer. |
