The Executive MBA (Global) is the product of a powerful partnership between two prestigious Business Schools: The Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and the WU Executive Academy at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. This partnership brings together leading perspectives from both sides of the Atlantic.

Vienna University of Economics and Business Founded in 1898 and with about 25,000 (24% international) students, the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, or WU Wien) is Europe's largest educational institution for business and economics, business law, and social sciences.
The WU offers top-class facilities, renowned faculty (over 500 academics), international connections (over 215 partner universities worldwide), top quality research, and innovative teaching methods. EQUIS Accreditation
As the first Austrian University, WU received an international EQUIS accreditation. With this, WU officially belongs to only four business universities in the German-speaking world (Universität Mannheim, WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, Universität St. Gallen) and is the largest public university in the European Union to be accredited by EQUIS.
EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) is an internationally recognised accreditation system offered by the European Foundation of Management (EFMD).

The WU Executive Academy combines business know-how and the resources of WU Wien to offer specialized continuing education for managers. The mission of the WU Executive Academy is to advance individual careers through high quality continuing education programs, and to provide ongoing support of our client firms’ human resource development strategies. We strive to offer knowledge that is of immediate practical relevance and is continually updated by faculty that brings research-led teaching capabilities to the classroom.
